If you’re not familiar with Staud, be prepared to fall in love with a collection of understated, vintage-inspired clothing that emanates an irresistible cool factor. Reformation’s former fashion director Sarah Staudinger, along with business partner George Augusto, launched Staud in 2015 with the aspiration of creating a line of clothing that is not only well constructed and figure flattering, but accessible in pricing. All of the clothing and bags are manufactured in Los Angeles, sometimes out of dead stock fabric to cut waste. While I already have a pair of silk crepe track pants, a bell sleeved knit turtleneck and a little faux fur tote en route to me now, I can’t wait to see what is down the pipeline for this emerging brand.
