I have admired this image, of the Mingot sisters twirling around on the beach, the moment I read Gypset Style. And it wasn’t until now that I finally discovered that the stunning dresses, which are made in Chiapas, Mexico, are actually sold on the family’s online boutique Les Gazelles. Now these are some serious gypset threads!

They are certainly gorgeous and an amazing handcraft. This kind of embroidery has been done for centuries in different kinds of dresses (I’m mexican). It impresses me, though, to see they’re so expensive… It makes me wonder what portion of this price actually goes to the people who make them?… I’m telling you, these people live in serious conditions of poverty, I really doubt they’re getting a fair payment for the elaborate work they do.
I love these, I will model for you, if you will have me! Possible at the Oscar before/after parties? They look like angel wear to me, love them!
The link to the dresses no longer exist! Any insite on how I can accumulate a dress?!! Love you’re site! Thank you!!!
