Its hard to believe Ulyana Sergeenko is only on her fourth season as a designer. Feels as though we have loved her forever. It’s her old-fashioned and wonderfully over-the-top looks she ever so perfectly achieves season after season. The spring collection was inspired by an imaginary trip on the Orient Express, with stops in Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. Stepping off the train is a movie star – or femme fatale, donning hourglass corsets, capelets with hand-painted fringe, pants with intarsias of narrow bands of silk, silk jumpsuits with hand-embroidered cotton buds, and billowing skirts. Check out all the intricate details that went into the collection at Vogue España.

This was quite an interesting collection, although not one of my favorites. My absolute favorite was Atelier Versace. Check out my post about Haute Couture on my blog http://berrytrendy.com
I like this old fashioned style. She’s very talented. Thanks for sharing!
I seriously loved this collection. It felt really daring to me somehow. She definitely is a natural talent and it is so surprising how early she is in her career — and producing clothes that uphold to the quality of the greats!
