Mexico meets Vegas in Balmain‘s spring collection under the new direction of Olivier Rousteing, except with a little less rock n’ roll and bit more class. We like.
The recession is definitely going to be mighty present in 2012 judging by the lenght of those skirts. They’re even longer then those incredibly long legs!
wow. loving the denim while they’re still keeping their strong silhouettes. this is so ethnic, yet so country. LOVING ! ps, http://amandamantes.blogspot.com !
I had a love/hate thought about this collection. It’s a little too western for me, or so I thought. Then I looked beyond the belt buckles and saw the amazing detailing and loved all the embellishments. Now, it’s love at second site.
I love the casual refinement of the first few looks in this collection. Balmain has great use of detailing and embellishment, making it so subtly sophisticated!
I always loved Balmain FOR their rocker edge, and am admittedly a bit sad to see it fade in this collection. It is indeed beautiful, but not what I was hoping for. Big WTF from me.
the more i see it the more i like it…needed some time

I loved it – tho I think its Spanish-inspired, not Mexico.
That black jacket is amazing. Wish I could own one.
Balmain is simply brilliant, and I love that they keep using light wash denim. He sure knows how to make it look sophisticated!
