Twilight Room

Do you remember that unforgettable scene in Auntie Mame with the fabulously far-fetched, post modern hydraulic benches designed by the fictional Danish designer Yul Ulu? Well, interior designer Kendall Wilkinson‘s hovering cantilevered benches, created for LUXE Magazine’s Maison de Luxe Show House, would have made Mame proud. The benches and the infinity mirror with bright yellow flowers are the show stopping features of this custom designed space. Honestly, wow.

Auntie Mame is such an amazing movie…so glad somebody else has seen it too! And the bit that stayed in my head the most after watching it as a kid was totally the sofa part 🙂
