I have pink walls in my room, which you can see on all my outfit pictures ahah. And that is also the reason why I called my blog Cotton Candy. Ik just love the fact that when I walk into my room I feel instantly refreshed and happy because of the pink walls 🙂
I’m normally one to pass on the pink but the more softer tones or more “coral-ly” looking shades i do enjoy such as the doors with darker surroundings and the retro sofa is awesome!
I love pink as a color (I got married in magenta!), but I like it best in the rooms/ applications where it doesn’ t scream feminine. I think the rooms where pink is used as a contrast to more masculine/androgenous design or hard edges makes it look new and unexpected. When it is in the super- girly rooms, it looks pretty, but predictable and a little over the top. Yes to pink in architecture and interiors, but it is best when it is thoughtfully done, and not just as a statement of pinkness and femininity. (I do love the pink doors on grey houses!)
PINK! always pink. i took the plunge and painted my bedroom a wild shade of watermelon and i have to say i kinda love it. really creates a bright and energizing space. but you do have to balance out the color with neutrals as well
So glad you discovered one of our shots and included it in your roundup. It’s the coral foyer, designed by Tobi Fairley, and here’s the rest of the gorgeous house if you’d like to take a peek: http://www.athomearkansas.com/article/family-friendly-city. We’d love to have you include us in the links.
LOVE pink now and forever. Socialite clothing has a new flourescent pink pintuck blouse that you will die over if you love the inspiration above. Check it out at http://www.socialiteclothing.blogspot.com
That second photo with the pink armchairs and porcelain plates on the wall reminds me of a London drawing room (not that I’ve personally seen one) but it’s super cute.
I like a lot of these rooms, except the last one. But, how the heck would I ever get my husband to agree to one of them. He is generous with decorating resources but wants to have Some input.
My mum randomly painted the laundry wall pink and it’s the first wall people see when they walk in the back door. I barely notice it anymore but I love how it’s such a random pop of colour!

My dining room table is bright pink! It’s a good way to start the day.
My mum randomly painted the laundry wall pink and it’s the first wall people see when they walk in the back door. I barely notice it anymore but I love how it’s such a random pop of colour!
