  2. Love a good steamer trunk. I bought a beautiful brass one at Brimfield flea market last year. It acts as my coffee table right now.
I would love some day to own one of those vintage Louis Vuitton ones. The are just so classic and cool. They are super pricey however.

  15. My grandfather had one from when he was in WW11 that I inherited when he died in 2005. It is exactly like the one 6 rows down on the right. I really ♥♥♥ it. It is the only thing I have of of him. I have lugged that trunk around since 2005 through six moves; pain in the butt but worth it. I will never get rid of it. It even still has the original diagram of how to pack it and fold the clothes per military standards and the original divider in it too. I would never have imagined it would have come en vogue! ツ

Even as a child, I remember my Aunts would go to flea markets and look for all sorts of trunks. I think they are timeless and always “in”.

Please tell me which flea market to visit to find a vintage Goyard or LV trunk. These suckers go for many thousands and the only place I have ever seen them is in online antique auctions. They are, of course, gorgeous, but hardly the kind of thing you’ve find stumbling around some local fm on a random Saturday morning. :/
