John Derian has been immortalizing beautiful 18th and 19th century paper matter into glass plates, trays, bowls, and other decorative home items since 1989. Since then, the American decoupage artist has expanded his brand into all parts of the home with furniture collaborations, ceramics, vintage and antique imports, textiles, and art - all superbly curated throughout four boutiques in New York City and one in Provincetown. And if you have been inside of a John Derian shop, you'll understand that it's no surprise that John's East Village home is the same, perfect, magical amalgamation of all the things John does best. Antique furniture, vintage textiles, found objects, and art are beautifully layered in a light filled apartment with exposed pipes, pressed-tin ceilings and raw wood floors. Don't blink or you'll miss the tiny details that make this space so special. A collector's paradise, indeed . . .
