Renowned artist and sculptor Jorge Pardo spent 6 years building his home on 740 acres of land, deep in the northern Yucatán jungle in Tecoh. Combining Mayan culture and modern design, Pardo embraces the jungle with open doors and windows, rows of hammocks hanging above a blue tiled floor, origami-like ceilings, and even a swimming pool with a terrarium built close by so swimmers can see the roots growing underwater. Honestly, WTF.
