AGJ x HWTF for Birkenstock Boston

We couldn’t be more excited to bring back our Birkenstock rope kit - this time in celebration of the Boston Marathon! Ariel and I have reimagined the palette with a fresh mix of colors, including a nod to the iconic marathon hues, designed to bring a little extra energy and personality to your everyday essentials. If you’re in town between April 18-20, come hang with us all weekend at Birkenstock's Newbury and Chestnut Hill locations and get hands-on - think custom keychains, decked-out water bottles, and, of course, Birkenstock clogs laced up your way. It’s equal parts craft, community, and a little marathon magic. We can’t wait to see what you make!

and cross the right "ear" in front of the left. It's important to note that if you to tie in opposite directions: left in front of right, then right in front of left (or vice versa).

Instead of tying the ears into a knot as you would to tie a normal bow, you'll take the right ear along with the tail and flip it forward and push it through the opening.

Now take the left "ear" and along with the tail, you'll flip it back and push it through the opening...

Pull gently on both loops at the same time to tighten the bow.

Before adding beads, make sure the ends of your cords are cut and melted with a lighter so they don't fray. Thread on your beads and finish each cord with a single knot.
