Lauren and I have been experimenting with double exposure photography, thanks to a recent workshop we attended and an exciting upcoming project (much more on that later). In the meantime, check out these multiple exposure photographs by photographer Doug Keyes, capturing city life from all over the world.

Great photos! I’ve recently discovered multiple exposure photo collages and they are really fun to play with.

That’s wonderful. Congrats!
It’s funny when I was a kid and did this by accident I was so bummed. Now it’s artsy haha.

These photos are absolutely gorgeous! I used to have an old polaroid camera and produced an accidental double-exposure photo. I still have it and have always marveled at how amazing it looks. Great post!

this is phenomenal. im working on an architecture project sited in theoretical nyc. it investigates the ever-changing views of the city as collected by an inhabitant. this double layering of images, this double exposure is incredible.
Those look great! When my bf and I were in school, multiple exposures were one of his specialties. We used film at the time, and he always did so well with the more technical projects <3

I recently got a Diana F Mini and my double exposures were all by accident because i kept forgetting to wind the camera! In the end I got really crazy fun shots! Lets see how the second roll of film turns out! Have fun experimenting with it!

These are awesome! I love the overlays!
some great shots, love the effect
Amazing photos. I love your blog.
I love these photos! And to me there is almost something subversive about them. This idea that modern life has become but a blur of locations that have lost any individuality because of the sheer volume of cities and bulidings. Wow I did not expect to get that deep.
Check out my blog http://www.do-or-diy.blogspot.com … if you want to.
Look forward to hearing about your upcoming project. Love double exposure!
These would look great as paintings. I lovid…
The photographs are breath taking x http://hannahalehandra.blogspot.com/
