Minju Kim, a graduate of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, won H&M‘s annual design competition last year and had small capsule collection sold at select stores and Opening Ceremony in October. I’m kicking myself for missing the boat on this – perhaps the anticipation of Marant-insanity threw my attention off kilter. Kim brings her fascination with Manga to life, with inventive silhouettes – the leather collar worn over a pleated trapeze dress and the wavy edged, cape-like sweater are insanely cool. And the bright yellow jacquard cocoon coat?! Forget about it. Can’t wait to see more from this talent.

thanks for presenting me to this maiinfgcent lady. she has something very uncommon and unique about her functions, I can’t quite put my kids finger on it. I think the france would say she offers a certain “je ne sais quoi”?
