Jason Wu Pre-Fall 2012

Posted by on

Inspired by Indian maharajas and Charley Harper‘s illustrations, Jason Wu turned out the most classic and regal collection for pre-fall. The hand knotted sweaters, leather and sequined collars, color block trousers (need), houndstooth paneling, and tailored outerwear are so spot on, I’ll be surprised if these looks don’t get knocked off come 2012. P.S. Doesn’t this get you even more excited for Jason’s collaboration with Target next February?

I love the jumper of no 6 outfit (the blue one with green bits falling), and that night blue gown, whoah! Just need the party to go with it!

OMG I just fell in love. Mainly with those amazing blue pants, but more broadly with everything in this post. Oh, Jason, how you tempt me (and my poor, poor credit card)!!

Jesus. I just got chills. Chills, I tell you! Too bad the Target collaboration’s not in January when I’ll actually be in the states. Maybe you can pick some things up for me…? ;) Meanwhile I’ll just sit here and drool over this. thanks.

This collection is the epitome of regal and classic. With slim, tailored sihlouettes, luxurious fabrics and fine details, this is probably one of my favourite Wu collections! Absolutely gorgeous. I am so excited to see what he brings to the table when he does his collaboration for Target. I’m predicting that it’s going to be a HUGE hit!
