Giles Deacon officially took “the accessory of the season” to the next level at his fall showing this week in London. I’m inspired to go purchase the thickest skein of yarn and the largest needles possible to knit these sick, super-sized beanies.

I can´t knit very well (okay I´m really bad at it) so glad you can buy one. Looks super cool. The black and the pink one are my favs 🙂

I’m a fairly skilled knitter, so I think these are grotesquely ugly, much like the nightmarish … dreck dreamed up by Wenlen Chia of Twinkle. Rather than enhancing a woman’s looks, they’re all about a hat wearing a woman and screaming desperately “Look at me! Look at me! Make a point on the runway perhaps, but actually wear one in real life? Oh puleeeze.
Really like the larger knit on the beanie hats! I can see myself trying to pull this look off this fall 🙂
Yes, I’d wear it and wear it well! The light pink looks so good, love the feather detail.
So cool!

J’adore !
I like these alot! x
Thought about getting one made for maybe 5 minutes…. Until then I remembered I could prob easily use one of my chunky knit winter circle scarves that were all the rage before, and easily turn it into a beanie with some easy stitching with wool or yarn… JUST A THOUGHT
Yeah not a fan of this trend.
Cool:)

The models seem as though their skinny necks are straining against the weight of the hat. God forbid that thing gets wet in the rain. Jokes aside I think there have been much worse fashion trends, and this can be carried off. Think Carrie in ” Sex and the City” or the college crowd.
As for me, I’m too chunky for this chunky and see myself involved in a dangerous car accident if this bean bag should flop over my eyes while driving. But, in the event that the extreme opposing trend comes out next year I’ll definitely have my knitted yamaka ready.
I’ve got the yarn. Let’s get the needles and do it!
LOVE!! Get us a good pattern!
I <3 it !
I luv this hat!
Hey, I don’t know if you ever got your hands on one of those hats but I’m making similar hats over at my Etsy shop; you should check them out!
