Sky Art

French artist Thomas Lamadieu creates his “sky art” by combining photography and line drawings. Inspired by the way the sky peeks through skyscrapers, Lamadieu illustrates quirky cartoons within these spaces. What a great reminder to look up once in awhile and realize that art is everywhere!

Sometimes it take a minute to actually figure out the opening of the sky.

These are so cool, and such a brilliant idea. It’s like that game we used to play as kids where you scribble a random shape and try to make a picture out of it.

Wow, what a cool art idea! When I saw the first two, I thought he actually put those in between the buildings and I wondered how he did that! It wasn’t until I saw the last picture that I realized they were drawings over photographs. I guess that’s just how good the art is!
