Chez Mario

Leave it to Mario Testino to transform a 1930s Spanish-style hacienda, tucked away in the Hollywood Hills, into a refined display of art, fashion, and culture. Natalia Vodianova dons the season’s best wares against an immense backdrop of contemporary art, Peruvian furniture, and decor from all over the world . . . all photographed by Mario himself, of course.

  1. Take me to Argentina where i will live in such a jewel, a lovely hacienta near the sea! Awesome work, although i think all these paints and photos in one room are a little too much. I am a more minimalistic girl i think, a green-earthy-minimalistic girl to be correct!

The house is a little busy, but each piece is amazing in it’s own right. Plus the furnishings really do compliment the garments in an interesting way. The outdoors shot hardly even looks like LA. The whole scene looks so much more exotic than that.

He is a genius and the house is gorgeous. I especially love the photo where Natalia is on the floor, draped against the table and chair. Brilliant!
