Whether it’s a button-down, a t-shirt, or a long skirt, we’re fans of tying those loose ends into knots!

Haven’t seen this in a while. It’s funny when you get old enough to see trends repeating themselves throughout your life. I remember my mom saying “I used to have a pair of those in the 70s” and I’d roll my eyes, but now it’s happening to me and it’s making me feel old.
Love all these images.

Didn’t know it was a trend, I have been doing it for quite a while. Just adds a bit of expression to the outfit and it’s an easy way to adjust the length of the clothing nicely, but not permanently, so that when I want it long again I don’t need to worry. I really love all the looks! Gives me some further inspiration

I LOVE knotting my belts and shirts too!
Ok i’ve been knotting my button ups a lot lately and I’ve been a bit nervous about it bc I worry it’s a little too 1980’s. Glad to see it’s still chic!

Such a great way to refresh an old shirt. I love that shredded denim one!
Such an easy little detail makes SUCH a big difference in an outfit! It’s like a twist on DIY? I love it. All of these looks are complete because of the knot. Awesome. http://www.StingyStyle.net
