As another year comes to an end, we can’t help but reminisce about all the wonderful events and happenings of 2011. So join us on a stroll down memory lane as we look back on some of our favorite moments.

First things first: a few things we never got around to doing, like DIYing a glitter encrusted wig in time for New Year’s Eve. But there’s always next year.

Unfortunately, we were never able to cross the Nest Rest off of our wish list  . . .

And I never got around to painting the walls of my bathroom black, even after all of your words of encouragement.

We did, however, travel to some amazing places this year . . .

And proudly appeared on Martha Stewart‘s show to demonstrate how to DIY Miu Miu glitter sneakers . . .

And had a blast at New York Fashion Week . . .

And got crafty at Madewell and Free People during Fashion’s Night Out.

We also learned a few things in 2011, like boyfriends with baggage can indeed come with benefits . . .

Break ups are hard . . .

Zara is better than ever . . .

New York City is best seen from above . . .

Lui Bolin is truly the master of disguise . . . 

And you can never DIY enough bracelets for your wrists . . . 

Honestly. WTF. 

And perhaps at times we showed some preferential treatment to our favorite designers and trends. Like Mary Katrantzou . . . 

And Erdem . . .

And color blocking . . .

And perfect examples of mixing prints. What can we say? We just can’t seem to get enough.

Of course along with every new year are resolutions and wishes. In 2012, we hope to have a meal at the Rock Restaurant . . . 

Spend the night in a luxurious tree house . . .

Learn to levitate just like Natsumi . . .

Host another tepee workshop . . .

Be more on time . . .

And embark on another fantastic journey with our readers. Thank you for inspiring us in 2011. xx
