Burkman Bros

Every guy needs a good belt.  I’m always on the lookout for belts for my male clients and recently discovered the incredible Burkman Bros line at Barneys.  Designed by twin Canadian brothers, their Spring/Summer 2010 collection is inspired by their travels to the beaches, cities & markets of Southeast Asia and India.  I instantly fell in love with their colorful hand embroidered belts and each hangtag comes with a hand woven friendship bracelet!  You gotta love that.

Color Me Happy

During a visit to NYC last January, a huge blizzard left me and some friends stuck indoors.  My friend Michelle brought out some coloring books to entertain us.  Seriously, when was the last time you picked up a crayon and colored?  It was so nostalgic and such a creative outlet.  Since then I’ve hunted down these great “grown up” coloring books, which would make great gifts for the music, fashion, or sneaker freak in your life.

Amangiri

Honestly….can we discuss how amazing this new hotel from Áman Resorts in Utah is?!?  Amangiri (meaning ‘peaceful mountain’) is located in the Four Corners, where the states of Utah, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona meet.  I love how architecturally, the resort blends into the dramatic and raw landscape and is so seemingly minuscule compared to its surrounding deep canyons and towering plateaus.  Heaven.
