Erica and I are getting some rest and relaxation in Nevada City, CA.  Happy weekend!

I am loving the premier collection of Karishma Shanani, a recent graduate of London College of Fashion and recipient of The Fashion Technology Award.  Her eclectic collection of bright Indian-inspired floaty natural fabrics is perfect for anyone who is not shy of expressing themselves, and most importantly someone who is an explorer.  She has found inspiration from her native homeland, India: ” the land of dreams and romance, of fabulous wealth and stark scarcity, of splendour and rags, of palaces and hovels, of famine and pestilence, of genie and giants, tigers and elephants, the city, the jungle, of a thousand religions and two million gods, the epitome of legends and traditions.”

I’m digging these teddy bear necklaces from Disaya’s Spring/Summer jewelry collection.  They are so whimsical and fun (wear them long and layered), especially with their movable appendages!  And the studded punk bear??  That one’s mine.

I am needing this insanely stunning macrame canopy in my life, although someone needs to make it for me first. In the meantime, I’ll settle for this gorgeous macrame plant hanger from Smalltown.
