Lauren and I have been on a search for the perfect agate pendant necklace for some time now, especially after seeing the Just Cavalli Spring 2011 collection. Our hunt is finally over after discovering Mimi Jung’s debut collection of one of a kind agate jewelry under her label Brook&Lyn. The name of the collection, “surrounded,” is an homage to the process of creating each piece. Each stone’s ring pattern is echoed by a hand crocheted border and the entire piece is then surrounded by rope. So unique and beautiful!
I usually plan my Halloween costume weeks in advance. But this year I’m finding myself scrambling to throw something together last minute (how is it already the end of October???). I’ve been wanting to dress up as Maude Lebowski for awhile now. Or perhaps a drifting nomad? Or a Chanel-clad abominable snowman? Lauren suggested a giant pom pom.
