I am loving fashion illustrator Coco’s line of large silk scarves. Each scarf in her Forget Me Not collection has been originally hand drawn by Coco and digitally printed in small quantities in Europe. How can you not love anything inspired by Surrealism, esoteric imagery and fairy tales?
Photographer Chris Jordan explores the phenomenon of American consumerism by making large-format, long-zoom artwork from the most mindblowing data. Cans Seuratdepicts 106,000 aluminum cans in the form of George Seurat’s A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte; 106,000 being the number of cans used in the US every thirty seconds. Mindblowing indeed.
