With all of the phenomenal talent that is being cranked out of Australia and New Zealand recently, we’ve been keeing a close eye on Australian Fashion Week. The past few days have been spent swooning over Karla Spetic, Arnsdorf, Lisa Ho, Bec & Bridge, and Zimmermann‘s covetable collections. But my favorite so far is Lover‘s romantic yet modern collection inspired by Chinese mythology. The delicate white, ivory, red and black lace ensembles make my knees weak! Simply dreamy . . .

DIY Rope Bracelet
Climbing rope? Bracelets? Count us in. Inspired by Miansai‘s colorful, stackable and adjustable rope bracelets, we were determined to add another do-it-yourself bracelet to our growing collection. With some colorful rope and an S hook from the hardware store, making this bracelet is as simple as mastering the versatile sliding knot. We must warn you though, this project is extremely easy and addicting!
Nordic Dwellings
Swedish interior designer Marie Olsson Nylander gutted a 1970s townhouse, tore out the floors, knocked down the walls, opened up the ceilings and transformed it into the most eclectically beautiful and radiant home. I love the contrast of all the bright and rustic found objects against the white walls and floors. Would you ever consider painting your floors white?

Fancy Ladies
Peggy Wolf was studying fashion design for several years until she realized she enjoyed drawing more than designing. Her use of watercolors, pastels, ink, and sometimes even real flowers (yellow orchid below) gives her work a bit of a vintage edge and some quirkiness. All the prints are available in her Etsy shop.
