Can we discuss how pretty this Bettina Liano ruffled peach sorbet dress is? I’m also loving the floral pants, denim shorts and white tailored sheer shirt over the quilted corset dress. Each look is so wonderfully refreshing from this fabulous Australian line!
Each year the French Ministry of Culture and Communication invites a leading artist to create a work that responds to the exceptional architectural space of the Grand Palais in Paris. For Monumenta 2011 Indian-born artist Anish Kapoor has created Leviathan, a 75,000 cubic-meter balloon made of PVC vinyl. While the exterior may appear to be opaque and aubergine in color, the inside, which visitors are welcome to enter, is a translucent cherry red. If you know me well, you’ll know that I have an unexplainable fear of balloons. But if I were in Paris, this would just be too damn good to pass up experiencing in person. Honestly, incroyable!
Oh, the “flatform” . . . dislike the name almost as much as the word “jeggings” but love that they give the balls of my feet a break while still adding several inches of height. Here are some of my favorite reasonably leveled platforms for those long summer strolls ahead.
This gorgeous home, nestled in a small coastal village in the Tramuntana region of Majorca, belongs to Alexandre de Betak, a renowned events producer, art director and designer whose work includes fashion shows and extravaganzas for clients such as Dior, Rodarte and Tiffany. With its stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea, curvaceous white plaster walls, functional rock features and unpretentious design elements, this is a home that Barney Rubble and I are incredibly envious of. Yabba dabba DOPE!
