A few months ago we read news of Tim Kaeding and Lela Tillem, formerly of 7 for All Mankind and Citizens of Humanity respectively, developing a fresh new denim line called Mother. The duo spent the past several years devising new fits and developing materials that look like denim but feel like cashmere. We were immediately sold and have been waiting on pins and needles to get our hands on a pair. Thankfully, Mother is now available for the denim obsessed! PS – check out The Coveteur for a peek inside Tim and Lela’s closets!
Designer Shahla Kareen designs and individually handcrafts each introspective piece of jewelry for her Ludevine line. She uses a variety of natural elements such as solid gold and ancient fossils in her Primitive Collection, for example, exploring ideas of rebirth and resurrection while paying homage to some of nature’s most exquisite marvels. A few weeks ago, I finally got to see and feel the human heart locket from her Sempt Collection and I must say, it’s absolutely stunning – weighty, intricate, beautiful and so unique!
Boy, oh boy. Tailored blazers, boyfriend cardigans, cropped jackets, slouchy trousers, breezy skirts, soft pastels & blacks, mirrored sunnies and neon trimmed handbags?! I’m hungry for just about everything from Olivier Theyskens‘ third collection for Theory. Laid back cool with a touch of je ne sais quoi . . . it’s just too good.
This incredible bookcase is designed by Eva Alessandrini and Roberto Saporiti for the Italian furniture design firm Saporiti. Even though the letters wouldn’t quite fit, I would love to have one that said: HonestlyWTF.
