Diana of Miss Moss has taken her wonderful series of comparing street style photos to classic paintings to another level by merging the two into one. She’s layered the works of Renoir, Korovin, and Latour with photos from the likes of The Sartorialist and Stockholm Street Style. We can’t wait to see more!

Several months ago, we visited the studio of our friend Mary Button Durell. Mary, a San Francisco based artist, creates translucent and abstract sculptures using only a single material which is handmade by layering sheets of tracing paper and wheat paste. Her delicate and complex sculptures are reminiscent of cocoons, bee hives, and underwater organisms. Honestly mind blowing and inspiring. Thank you for the day of fun, Mary Button!

Casa Rita is located on Formentera Island, the smallest and most southerly of the Balearic Islands of Spain. When I first saw Jordi Canosa‘s photos of this harmoniously rustic home, I was immediately reminded on one of my favorite flamenco songs, Aire by Josè Mercè. He sings: “que tenga la puerta abierta la alegria de mi casa,” which means to have the door open to joy and happiness in your home!
