“Andy Warhol’s superstars go to Coney Island, with a nod to candy kids” is how the brilliant Chris Benz described his Spring Collection. He so masterfully mixed slouchy pants, embellished blazers and symmetrical skirts with trippy floral and geometric prints, pops of neon, and sneakers by Alejandro Ingelmo. And the super teased hair and orange-red lips topped it all off. LOVE!!
100 Years of Fashion
Check out this 100 second film, shot on location in East London, celebrating 100 years of fashion with 100s of outfits. My only complaint is that the current looks are nowhere near as stylish and fun as the past!

Mara Hoffman S/S 2012
The moment we walked into Mara Hoffman‘s Mara Mexicana presentation last week, our hearts literally skipped a beat. It honestly doesn’t get any better than custom prints inspired by Otomi embroidery and huipils, knitted Mexican serapes separates, silk crepe fabrics with neon embroidery, and colorful rope jewelry by Holst & Lee. Throw in some live music by a mariachi band and we’re sold. Now, all we’re waiting for is a home line by the master of prints. Mara, are you listening?
Jason Wu S/S 2012
Jason Wu‘s Spring Collection was off the chain with ultra feminine Kaws-inspired prints paired with Wu’s classically tailored silhouettes. But what really took the cake was the stunning makeup and bold hair. I’m obsessed with the needle-like black feathers arbitrarily bobby pinned into a messy do and the vibrant orangish red lips. Check out the how-to here.
