Current obsession? Pinky rings. Bittersweets‘ dainty Club Pinky Rings, to be exact. Our favorite jewelry purveyor, Catbird, is giving away a set of these customizable 14k gold rings for you and your bestie so that you, too, can join the pinky club. All you have to do is like them on Facebook for a chance to win. You honestly won’t want to miss out on this one. I pinky swear.
After thrifting a Blue Boy painting for $3, I soon discovered that it was actually a paint by number piece! Not only is Aldo commemorating their 40th anniversary this year, they’re also celebrating their long term commitment to reduce waste. By adding handles to their eco-friendly shoe boxes and turning them into bags, the goal is to reduce bag consumption by 40% this year and 70% by the end of next year. So when Aldo asked us to repurpose their special edition shoe box into something functional, we embraced the challenge. Reuse, repurpose, recycle . . . no problem.
Maison Martin Margiela is bringing their deconstructed shapes and voluminous proportions to H&M this fall. Though considered to be the most daring collaboration to date, I’m happy to see H&M branch out to more innovative and unexpected designers. Besides, I selfishly can’t wait to get my hands on the glove-handled bags, oversized sweaters, loose fitting trousers, and sky high boots. November 15th. Mark those calendars.
