Inspired by Indian maharajas and Charley Harper‘s illustrations, Jason Wu turned out the most classic and regal collection for pre-fall. The hand knotted sweaters, leather and sequined collars, color block trousers (need), houndstooth paneling, and tailored outerwear are so spot on, I’ll be surprised if these looks don’t get knocked off come 2012. P.S. Doesn’t this get you even more excited for Jason’s collaboration with Target next February?
Is it a bat, a butterfly, a moth, a pair of wolves, or even two dancers? However you perceive it, we certainly won’t be examining your personality or providing you with a diagnosis today. Instead, we’ve collaborated with Sachin + Babi to create a fabulous statement necklace, inspired by three elements from their Spring 2012 Collection: Rorschach ink blots, leather, and gold!
