The cavernous chamber of the Galerie Courbe in the Grand Palais was temporarily transformed into a magical backdrop for Chanel‘s new Metiers d’art collection, inspired by India’s Maharajas and lavish palaces. Tables were set with tiers of fruits, sweets, and flowers. Models, with khol-rimmed eyes, donned jeweled tikkas down the middle of dreadlocked hair.
