Leave it to Vivienne Tam to brilliantly incorporate colorful tribal tassels into her Spring 2011 collection. These similar tassels from Silk Road Tribal were salvaged from vintage Turkoman & Baluchi garments and thanks to Vivienne, I’ve been inspired to add them to a belt or bag. Obsessed!

Yes, these ikat wedges really do exist. And no, they won’t run you hundreds of dollars. Why? Because Julian Louie has collaborated with Aldo with a collection of to-die-for wedges as part of his Spring 2011 collection. Are you jumping for joy, yet?

We were instantly inspired by this gorgeous rainbow fishtail braid in Free People‘s September catalog and decided to recreate it, adding our own little twist: making the braid into a wearable hat accessory. Who said braids were limited to summer and hair?

A newbie to 1st Dibs, I’m not sure if I should feel disappointed that I didn’t know about this sooner or elated that I now have first dibs on the best selection of vintage accessories I have ever seen. I’m in love with this vintage 80s Hermés watch with the H’s running down the middle of the strap. A vintage Dior turban…I mean, honestly? And we haven’t even started talking about the furniture and clothing yet.
