The first time I tried on a pair of MiH jeans, I instantly fell in love with the fit and have been a fan ever since. I’m digging their newest collection of light washed denim, which includes scalloped shorts, colorblocked skinnies, and boiler suits. Yes, you heard right – a retro-inspired, one piece denim suit . . . the new overall, perhaps?!
Whether it be a furry faux fur stole, a handful of gold rings, a floral headscarf, or even an outrageously spectacular tiara, all it takes is a single accessory to take an ensemble from awesome to RAD.
Ohhh, do we have some mouthwatering news for you. We, along with my sister Karen Chan and friend Todd Wagner, have spent the past few months developing a really exciting project. Design duo Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli of Valentino looked to Flemish Old Masters and Dutch painter Vermeer as their main inspirations for fall. The designers wanted to frame the face, with focuses on the neckline with the finest leather and lace embroidered collars. The real show stoppers were the gorgeous gowns in China blue prints inspired by Delft ceramics that Valentino himself had used in a dress in 1968.
You might remember our woven chain bracelet tutorial, one of our favorite DIYs to date. As we’re starting to get a taste of spring, we’re revisiting this oldie but goodie with some minor adjustments – this time with delicate chain and the addition of mini skull charms. So grab some of that embroidery floss and let’s get weaving!

- 7 skulls or charms
- 7 5mm jump rings
- 2 7mm jump rings
- 7 headpins
- 1 lobster clasp
- 2 bobby pins
- chain nose pliers and flat pliers
