Dustin Cohen, the filmaker behind last year’s The Violin Maker, has added a new artisan to his “Made in Brooklyn” series. Frank Catalfumo has been making and repairing shoes at F&C Shoes, in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, since 1945. And today, the 90 (and a half) year old shoemaker still works five days a week alongside his son Michael. I can’t wait for my next trip to New York as I’d absolutely love to meet the man so dedicated to his craft.
Mango Summer 2013
Doesn’t the styling in Mango‘s summer catalog make you want to immediately pack your bags and jetset to the most faraway destination?! We’re loving the high waisted pants, ikat printed jackets and lightweight blouses paired with wide brimmed hats, bold jewelry and the occasional sarape draped over the shoulder. So chic.
Wasson’s Digs
Todd Selby gave us a sneak peek of Erin Wasson’s lofty apartment in Greenwich Village back in 2008. Now The Coveteur and Elle are giving us a tour of the model turned designer’s closet in Venice Beach – and of course, it’s everything you thought it would be and more. With plenty of vintage bohemia, southwestern hats, cowboy-esque boots, and jewelry from her Low Luv line, we officially have wardrobe envy.
M2Malletier
Inspired by medieval tools and armor, designers Melissa Losada and Marcela Velez have distinguished their collection of luxury handbags with a single linear gold handle. The juxtaposition of an inimitably sleek and modern detail with a such a classic silhouette puts M2Malletier on the top of our handbag wish list!

Frankly, My Dear . . .
Rarely do we ever share the same collection twice but Ulyana Sergeenko‘s spring couture lookbook is just too damn good not to swoon over it a second time. The hats, the gowns, the embroidered sunglasses, the cinched waists . . . the DRAMA! Honestly, mind blowing.
