With the launch of HonestlyYUM, a house remodel and the arrival of a new baby boy, 2013 was certainly a very busy but special year. And as we give these past 12 months a proper send off, we’re looking forward to an even better 12 in 2014. Happy New Year, everyone!
Rarely will you find me wearing sequins throughout the year but the holidays definitely kindle my urge to don that celebratory sparkle. A sequin pant or knee length skirt for my New Year’s festivities will be just right . . .
This year, I’m counting down to 2014 by passing out handmade confetti party poppers at my New Year’s Eve fête. When the clock strikes 12, there will be celebratory pops, followed by explosions of color. YES!! Head on over to HonestlyYUM for the step by step tutorial. And if you don’t have time to score snaps, have no worry – they are just as fun without them!
Wide leg trousers, tuxedo jackets, silk jumpsuits, jeweled sweatshirts, and jeweled loafers . . . the oh so good outfit options for my low-key New Year’s Eve party are endless with Phillip Lim‘s holiday collection. And the burnt orange, peony pink and pea green color combinations? I’m definitely bringing those with me into 2014.
