All it takes is some googly eyes, a wagging tongue and some fierce teeth to turn ordinary street fixtures into monsters. Canadian artist Aiden Glynn has brought humor to the streets of Toronto!

Newserie
I love it when artists bring life and texture to two dimensional photos and drawings by way of embroidery. In his latest series Newserie, Chilean artist Jose Romussi embroiders flowers and geometric doodles over pages of fashion editorials. Look closely at this first piece with the white flowers – you’ll notice he created strands of hair and tiny braids with thin, wispy threads. So breathtaking. If you like his work, you’ll have to check out his Dance series, where ballerinas get the colorful, threaded treatment.

Chloé Pre-Fall 2014
Blanket. Coat. Enough said. Clare Waight Keller’s inspiration began with a 1966 archival photo of a Chloé blanket coat and came full circle with a collection of coats, jackets, and ponchoes in double faced wool with thick piping. And the reversible shearling jacket, trimmed with pops of rust orange?! Polar vortex proof, no doubt.
