Inspired by the influential group of writers, intellectuals, philosophers and artists who lived in the Bloomsbury quarter of London during the first half of the 20th century, Christopher Bailey traded Burberry‘s traditional plaid for boho flower motifs for his fall collection. Shearling jackets, trench coats, silk crepe dresses, scarves, toggle belts, handbags and booties were all drawn upon, free hand, with smudgy flowers and vines. It was all so beautiful and the styling was even better – with wool and cashmere blankets worn as shawls and long scarves draped around the body and cinched with belts. YES.
Take A Dip
These hyper-realistic paintings by Spanish artist Josep Moncada Juaneda have me yearning for a refreshing dip in the pool. Summer, where art thou?
Houghton Fall 2014
It’s no wonder Katharine Polk was inspired by Katharine Hepburn and Bianca Jagger this season. The slouchy pants, billowy floor sweeping dresses and dramatically oversized robe coats in clean color palettes were boyish- rock and roll-70s chic. And the flat, fuzzy sandals were the perfect touches to easy luxury.
DIY Bar Tray

Head on over to HonestlyYUM where I’ll show you how to make your own bar tray. Or bar cart sans wheels . . .
