Spotted: Breton Stripes
Did you know that our beloved Breton striped tee was originally worn as a uniform for French navy seamen in the 1850s? The original design featured 21 stripes, one for each of Napolean’s victories. And it wasn’t until Coco Chanel introduced the stripes as part of her 1917 nautical collection, that it became associated with Parisian inspired style. How is that for a bit of history? Whether it be a classic tee, a dress, a sweater or a crop top, or even an organic version, we can’t get enough of blue and white stripes. Oui, oui!

DIY Jeweled Sandals
These Marni inspired jeweled sandals were a no brainer. I mean, does it get any easier than gluing gemstones onto a pair of shoes?! But since I was making a pair for myself last weekend, using this season’s most comfortable and affordable sandal and high quality crystals with some extra sparkle, I figured I might as well walk you through the process. This one is a must do, y’all!
