Lake In Brooklyn

What a charming bohemian oasis Lake Bell has created in the backyard of her Brooklyn home. Furniture from West Elm and Pottery Barn are gussied up with ikat pillows, suzani fabric, ethnic rugs, an incredible beaded bull skull and a sweet hanging rattan chair.

HA! That is simply a photo shoot, and not by any means how her outdoor garden appears on any given day. I live in Brooklyn and it’s filthy. Nobody leaves woolen textiles outside and then relaxes on them. The stray cats, and weather would tear up those bohemian rugs in a week. The Art Director could have at least done a better job of faking a more natural outdoor space!
