I love the painted backdrops, in this Vogue editorial, with retro ensembles styled so beautifully by the great Grace Coddington. (Vogue March 2012; via Noir Facade)
Gorgeous clothes and spectacular styling. I’d love to wear some elements from the outfits shown!
BUT most of these are not even close to resembling saris either in draping or fabric choices. There are a variety of clothing styles among South Asian fashion, including saris, but these are more like stylized shalwar kameez (shalwar = loose trousers sort of like harem pants; kameez = tunic). One is sort of like an anarkali, which is sort of like a surplice top long dress, usually worn over leggings called chooridaar pajama.
These photos are so beautiful! I really like the styling and jewelry is amazing!
These peices are gorgeous the styling is awesome too
These look gorgeous! Remind me of Gisele Bundchen’s cover on Vogue in a sari!
I love everything!!!

Wow!!! Amazing creations!
Fabulous styling. Would luv to know more details about the jewelry.
It’s not easy to style sari or any other ethnic item, the stylist work here is amazing!
