A few weeks ago Lauren and I stumbled upon a fantastic store selling rare Moroccan, Indian and Balinese goods (more on that later). We almost lost our minds when we found a basket of ancient Indonesian ikat slippers…unfortunately, the largest size they had was a 6 and we walked away with our heads hung low. The excitement has returned after seeing these ikat oxfords from eco-friendly, Brooklyn-based Osborn. They’re not exactly like their predecessor but just as cute and affordable.

The shoes were at a store in Berkeley called Tienda Ho: http://www.tiendaho.com/. They also have a location in Santa Barbara. There’s no online shop but you can probably call and order them over the phone.
I would also like to know the store selling rare Moroccan. Please advise.
