So, it turns out Mandy over at Oracle Fox and I both share a love for visors. After she saw all the visors go down the runways for Spring, she searched the internet for the largest one she could find and by golly she found it. And for less than $11 on eBay!! Very Balenciaga-esque . . .

LOL oh my goodness. this is too funny, for the last decade, Chinese mothers have been wearing these to protect their faces from the sun. And all their kidss would laugh at them because they look like they’re going to work in a mine. Now it’s turning fashionable. I’m sure my mother will rejoice.

$5 chinatown “welder’s mask” – asian women wear these in my neighbourhood… while they drive. it just makes me all the more cautious driving around town. this just made me shake my head.
Amanda Kew Lee featured these in her SS12 show…I attributed it to her Asian upbringing — they wear these to keep from tanning. They’re a little ridiculous, if you ask me =P a million more chic options out there!

I just can’t get on board with the visors. I have an aunt who gardens in a visor every summer, so when I see these pics, that’s what I think of, and it makes me giggle. I am DIGGING those earrings though!!

I was in Martha’s Vineyard a few months ago and an older lady sitting next to me at the pool had one of these on. She said she got it in Hong Kong. I thought it was cool then.
