Kate and Laura Mulleavy took to the wheat fields and blue skies of the American plains, as they were in Days of Heaven, as inspiration for their Fall collection. The details were stunning, from the ruffled lace cuffs to the Native American beaded boots. I especially loved the ankle-grazing prairie coats, closed only at the waist, paired with romantic long sweeping dresses. I bet I’m not the only one putting Days of Heaven in my Netflix queue this weekend.
