Fendi F/W 2011

Silvia Venturini Fendi described the inspiration for her and Karl’s Fall collection as a buttoned-up-to-the-neck art teacher who is still wild enough to wipe paintbrushes through her hair and unleash the animal within. Honestly?! Not only do I absolutely adore that imagery, I’m crazy about mix of rich blues, mustard, and brick, the ribbed leggings, the oversized ruffles, the tri-colored fur, and the amazing Stegosaurus-esque headbands designed by Jennifer Behr.

I love the blues they are using in these pieces. So rich and beautiful. I’m not a fan of fur, not vegan or anything just for some reason touching it creeps me out, but I do love the color mix of the fur neck piece in the 3rd photo.
