Serengeti Under Canvas, run by renowned &Beyond, is a luxurious tented camp within the Sergenti National Park. The annual movement of 1.5 million wildebeest across the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem is one of the greatest spectacles in the natural world and the camp moves around the park year round, following the Great Migration. This is definitely going on my bucket list . . .

Who knew Joshua Tree had the coolest trailer park hotel? I first heard about Hicksville from a friend who wants to rent all 9 trailers for his wife’s birthday party! I can’t wait to go and tell you all about it.
With my one year wedding anniversary exactly a month away, I thought I’d share some images of San Miguel de Allende, a small colonial town in which my husband and I were married. San Miguel de Allende is nestled in the Bajio mountains of central Mexico and is known for its narrow cobblestone streets, buildings painted every color of a desert sunset, carved doors with unique brass knockers that open into grand courtyards, tinkling fountains and lush gardens. All of its magical charm makes it one of my favorite places in the world and I highly recommend a visit if you haven’t already been.

I’m adding this to my extensive travel bucket list. Immediately.
Uma Paro is a 29-room hillside hotel in the wildly beautiful Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan. Surrounded by deep valleys, terraced hills, snow tipped mountain ranges, rivers and cliffside monasteries, this 38 acre inland retreat is all about quiet comfort. Bhutan has always intrigued me and even more so now that I’ve discovered this most peaceful escape.
The talented Patricia Urquiola has put her stamp on the brand new W Hotel Vieques Island, designing the hotel from top to bottom. Vieques is one of the Spanish Virgin Islands in the southeast coast of Puerto Rico, known for its azure-colored waters and white sands. Lounging in colorfully woven day beds after a day of exploring an unspoiled island would be all kinds of awesome.
