Zara launched it’s home collection online yesterday and boy, are we all in for a treat. From bedding to tableware to hardware to rugs and even ashtrays, there is something for every square inch of your home or apartment. I’m especially excited about the vast selection of affordable, vintage-inspired stemware. Happy decorating, y’all!

Architectual firm Ábaton transformed an abandoned stable into a gorgeous stone estate in the province of Cáceres, Spain. Sustainability is key as the property’s remote location relies on the sun and two naturally flowing streams for power, via solar panels and turbines. The modern interior design melds so beautifully with the rough and rustic exterior – I mean, who wouldn’t want to live in this dream home?!

Zecc Architects have designed the remodel and expansion of a historic railway cottage in Santpoort-Noord of the Netherlands. They have done a great job preserving the original structure as well as the brick walls and windows. And with the addition of modern elements and amenities, this is truly a special home!

Big Basket, by Swedish designer Ola Gillgren, is an oversized chair with felt woven in to a steel frame. Between this and the Nest Rest, weekends couldn’t be more relaxing . . .

If you’ve ever walked along the Highline in New York City, you might have noticed a faceted glass structure sitting atop the DVF flagship store and design studio. You may have even heard people speculate that it is Diane von Furstenberg‘s penthouse apartment to which she retreats to, on occasion, after a long day’s work – and we can only imagine how hard this woman works.
