Lucy Fenton has combined her love of travelling, her passion for home design and her impeccable eye into the ultimate shopping destination: Fenton & Fenton. The Melbourne based boutique is filled with just about everything bold and eclectic for the home. Thankfully, most of her handpicked and ethically sourced treasures are available online – although you wouldn’t need to twist my arm to get me to Australia to experience this wonderland of riches in person!

The problem: how does one transform a small, 800 square foot apartment into an warm and open lofty space? The solution: exposed wood beams, poured concrete floors, vintage Eames chairs, a floating antique Chinese console, hand stitched pillows, a Beni Ourain rug, and interior designer Jessica Helgerson‘s impeccable taste.

It’s pretty impressive to see how a set of old office spaces have been restored and transformed into interior designer Soledad Suárez de Lezo‘s elegant Madrid home. I’m in love with the industrial steel windows, deco floor tiles, intricate moulding, and vibrant accoutrements. It’s fabulously eclectic (check out the set of rhinoceros feet on the coffee table) and wonderfully luminous!
