I’m all for an eclectically colorful home but am a huge fan of bright, crisp and clean kitchens, like this one from . . . you’ll never guess . . . Ikea!

I’ve been obsessed with the idea of painting the walls of my bathroom black after seeing this first photo in Lonny Magazine earlier this year. Since then, I’ve been riding the I-NEED-a-black-room-now roller coaster. I could just play it safe by accenting a room with black. Decisions, decisions . . . it’s just paint, right? Would you do it?

I love the vibrant colors and details in each of these tapestries, hand woven by Efrain Curi of Huancavelica, Peru. The piece on the far right is called Women in Blue where side by side, women are wearing bright straw hats with dark braids hanging down their backs. It is Curi’s tribute to all Andean mothers, daughters, sisters and aunts. Beautiful.

I am wild about these beautiful worldly goods from Plumo. I’ve got a thing for ottomans and poufs, so I’m definitely adding these Kelim Poufs to my wish list. I’m a big believer that you can never have enough poufs in your home. The more, the merrier!
