Chain link bracelets, with colorful threads woven through them, have been popping up here and there. We adore Aurèlie Bidermann‘s Do Brazil bracelets and thought it was about time we graduate to the ultimate “grown-up” friendship bracelet. With a curb chain bracelet and some embroidery thread, we’ll teach you how to make your own woven chain bracelet. And one for your bestie too, of course.

When my sister, Karen, asked us to partake in making a Gingerbread House as part of her awesome food blog, Globetrotter Diaires, we were stoked. A festive and edible DIY?? Win-win! I had never made a gingerbread house from scratch before and I must say, it was so fun and beyond gratifying. DIY Lace Earrings

Dolce & Gabbana‘s Spring ’11 collection undoubtedly furthered our already fanatical obsession with lace. Honestly, how dreamy is the collection?! You’ll need:
- lace trim or a lace doily
- Elmer’s multi-purpose glue
a pair of ear wires
- a bowl or measuring cup
- a pair of pliers
- a pair of scissors

DIY Botanical Print Jacket

Posted by on

We are smitten with Stella McCartney‘s floral ensembles from her Spring 2011 collection, inspired by 18th and 19th century botanical prints. You’ll need:
- an old jacket or blazer (we used a vintage army coat)
iron on transfers for dark clothing
- botanical images (we used images from Redouté)
- a printer
- a pair of scissors
- an iron

- a clear rectangular hinged box from The Container Store
- a pretty knob from Anthropologie
- a pair of pliers or a wrench
- a heavy duty wire cutter

- a pointed drill bit
