I’m majorly crushing on the styling in Gorman‘s Fall 2011 lookbook. Polka dots, aztec prints, black tights, pops of color, and pom pom scarves as turbans . . . helllllo!

In her Fall 2011 collection, Charlotte Taylor has returned to the same quirky and charming prints that made her earlier work so lovable. The silk blouses, scarves, dresses, and wallpaper in the collection are inspired by colonial Africa, Hungarian gypsys, and most obviously animals. Love!

It was 110% 60s retro at Jean Paul Gaultier with sky high silver beehives, kitten heels and cat eye sunnies! Honestly, the triple arm sunglasses are out of control amazing . . .

In Paris last week, Haider Ackermann presented his Fall Collection to the spoken word of Leonard Cohen’s poem A Thousand Kisses Deep:
Don’t matter if the road is long
Don’t matter if it’s steep
Don’t matter if the moon is gone
And the darkness is complete
Don’t matter if we lose our way
It’s written that we’ll meet
At least, that’s what I heard you say
A thousand kisses deep . . .
A dark yet deeply moving soundtrack to an equally dramatic yet romantic and wearable collection. I loved the elegant detailing, draping of fabric, and layering of shades of grey, taupe, burgundy and teal. Simply stunning.

Hooray for the gigantic floral & deco-inspired statement jewels and extra wide-brimmed hats at Lanvin!

Canadian twin brothers Dean and Dan Caten’s Fall collection is straight from the Wild West. I can feel the True Grit inspiration and I like it. The 20-gallon hats were by far my favorites, next to the leather duster coats and neckties.
