Jason Wu‘s Spring Collection was off the chain with ultra feminine Kaws-inspired prints paired with Wu’s classically tailored silhouettes. But what really took the cake was the stunning makeup and bold hair. I’m obsessed with the needle-like black feathers arbitrarily bobby pinned into a messy do and the vibrant orangish red lips. Check out the how-to here.

Inspired by the paintings of Cecily Brown and the Art Deco architecture of Miami, Dana Lorenz’s striking jewelry collection was presented against a backdrop of rose and yellow gold chain drapes at The Four Seasons. Long rhinestone duster necklaces were finished with beige feathers, silk fringed chokers were twisted and dotted with coral and turquoise, and beaded cuffs were adorned with pastel resin charms. And of course, all of it was juxtaposed with weighty chains and fierce spikes. Typically Fenton. Unsurprisingly exceptional.

Gerard Maione, the Creative Director of What Goes Around Comes Around, had Lauren Hutton in mind when designing for his and Seth Weisser’s spring collection. Her bold sophistication and effortless modesty inspired the globetrotting collection. The presentation started with a trip to Buenos Aires with bright red dresses and jade skirts. Then it was off to Africa with stunning caftans, turbans and silk trousers; and finally to The Gold Coast of Long Island with retro swimwear and beautiful Victorian lace blouses. 110% fabulous.

Rainbow colored dresses and unicorns motifs, long tiered maxis and cosmic stars patterns . . . these are a few of my favorite things. Pim, Kly, and Matina are the three sisters (Sretsis is Sisters spelled backwards!) behind this whimsical collection and aim to inspire girls to experience the regular joy of dressing up rather than locking up clothes only for special occasions. I’m inspired. Mission accomplished!
