If wearable art is your thing, then please let me introduce you to Swash London. Husband and wife duo Sarah Swash and Toshio Yamanaka have designed a collection covered in hand-drawn and painted motifs, ranging from flowers to animals and inner clock workings to equestrian bits and everything in-between. Paired with the most fabulous pom pom hats, how can you not be fascinated by these far out ensembles?
Judy Linn’s iconic photographs of Patti Smith were the inspiration behind MiH‘s collection of covetable androgynous and cool denim styles. I must say that the first time I slipped on a pair of MiH’s Marrakesh kick flared jeans, I knew I had found a new favorite. And now that they’re offering their best seller in a handful of autumn hues, I can’t wait to live in these super soft and comfortable leg lengthening numbers this fall.
French label By Zoé has embodied sophisticated comfort with their collection of shearling jackets, marled sweaters, thermal-like tops and ikat vests. C’est très chic!
J Brand‘s creative director Donald Oliver is introducing fundamental lines and rich fabrics for the denim brand’s sophomore clothing collection. Asymmetrical blouses, tailored trousers, and chic outerwear are executed in a wide variety of contrasting materials and moody tones, making fall’s best essentials wearable and über sophisticated. What a perfect ode to the city girl.
These cool and seemingly effortless looks from Rabens Saloner makes me wish we could drag these last few weeks of summer out as long as possible. Let’s pack our bags with long lavender chiffon dresses, earth-toned cotton separates, and loose fitting grey sweaters and fly off to a faraway place . . .
Mary Katrantzou has once again joined forces with photographer Erik Magidan Heck with a series of dreamlike images highlighting pieces from her spring and fall collections. In their second and third collaborative effort, these photographs were inspired by early Parisian Surrealist paintings, Catholic iconography, and Greek mythology. Honestly, mesmerizing.
